"In a world full of hatred two people in love stand out amongst them all."
-Nicci Sefton

Hello, as I'm sure you all know my name is Nicole (Nicci) Sefton. I am the daughter of Angie and Kirk Sefton and was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I have two older brothers, who live in Florida, who love to give me a hard time, but I love them just the same.

How I got started:

I started writing in third grade when my teacher Mrs. Turner said I'd be great to enter a writing competition our school was holding. So my first story I ever wrote (thanks to Mrs. Turner) was called (The Mouse in The Haunted House). I will admit you could defiantly tell a third grader wrote it but I was hooked the moment I started. I wrote little things here and there but I never thought about becoming an author. Like most kids at my age I wanted to be a teacher, a nurse, etc.

It wasn't until I moved to Bradenton, Florida that I realized I wanted to become an author. My eighth grade teacher Mrs. Henderson was making us do a poetry project. My friend and I spent hours on our poems. They seemed to just flow out of us. I'm pretty sure we handed in 15 out of the 5 we were suppose to do. That's when my friend gave me the idea to expand my writing abilities.
Now I do strongly suggest that if you are a little edgy like I was to start small. Again like most teens I went to fanfiction and loved reading all the stories based on TV shows, Movies, Books, etc. So I started there. I was so excited when I got my first comment saying I was good.

I started writing more fanfictions but I never finished them (writers block). I found out later that writers block was NOT going to be my friend. It seemed everything I started to write would always end up unfinished. I was starting to have doubts. But that next year I had a vision about a sci-fi sort of book. I started writing up chapter after chapter. I already knew my main characters background stories because I based them off five of my closest friends including myself. But as time went by I started to grow apart from the idea. All that years work, a waste. I was getting very frustrated with my writers block. Little did I know that this was a blessing in disguise. I still kept that story and still think of chapters for it and write it down as I do for my other unfinished stories.

Then my friend, Kristina, showed me my first vampire TV show. Can you guess what it was? That's right Buffy. I immediately fell in love with the characters Spike and Drusilla. I started watching more vampire movies with my friend and reading books. That next year while coming back from a family vacation with my parents Annabell came to life in my head. I was doing another fanfiction in my head and she materialized.

My Education and Plans:
I was in 10th grade when I started writing Luxuria I just graduated Union public schools and hope to move to NYC when I graduate to pursue my second passion for myths and legends at the New York University and in English lit and become a Literary Arts Teacher.
